At Kabuto Americas, we stand behind the quality of every helmet and accessory we sell. If something isn’t right, our team is here to help ensure your experience reflects the high standards of the Kabuto brand. 

This policy applies to all helmets, shields, and apparel purchased directly from Kabuto Americas. 

Kabuto Americas ships and accepts returns within the United States only. 

1. Return Eligibility 

Kabuto accepts returns of new, unused, unaltered items within 14 days of delivery. To qualify for a refund: 

● The item must be in new condition

● All original protection, including tags, manuals, accessories, and packaging, must be included. 

● Helmets must be returned in their helmet bag, inside the original Kabuto helmet box, placed inside a separate shipping box

● Shields must have protective film intact and show no signs of mounting. ● T-shirts must be unworn, unwashed 

Items showing signs of use or missing components will be returned to the customer or may incur a processing fee of up to 25% based on condition.

2. Condition Requirements 

A product is considered used and not eligible for return if it shows any of the following: 

● Marks, scuffs, scratches, or blemishes 

● Smudging, fingerprints, removed protective film 

● Interior wear, makeup, hair, odors, sweat, or skin/oil contact 

● Pet hair, smoke scent, or other environmental odors 

● Missing or altered tags 

● Damaged, taped, or missing packaging 

● Any evidence of mounting, riding, or wearing 

Kabuto Americas does not accept returns on used merchandise under any circumstances. 

3. Refunds 

Once your return is delivered to our facility and inspected (typical processing time: 24–48 hours), your refund will be issued to the original payment method

Please allow an additional 2–10 business days for your bank or card provider to finalize the credit. 

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

● We do not provide prepaid return labels. 

● Packages shipped COD will be refused. 

● Refused, undeliverable, or abandoned shipments may incur a $10 service fee.

4. Exchanges 

To ensure the fastest turnaround: 

1. Initiate a return request with our team at support@kabutoamericas.com

2. Place a new order for the item you’d like instead. 

This guarantees inventory availability and speeds up replacement shipping. 

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on original orders.

5. Order Cancellations & Modifications 

Orders can only be modified or canceled before they enter the shipping queue. 

If an order status shows Processed, In Fulfillment, or Shipped, it cannot be changed or canceled. 

In those cases, customers may initiate a return once the item is delivered. 

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items 

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect: 

● Contact us within 48 hours of delivery. 

● Keep all packaging and take photos when possible. 

● We will assist directly with carrier claims and send replacement items as appropriate. Our team will work quickly to resolve the issue, though carrier claim processing times may vary.

7. Warranty Information 

Kabuto helmets are backed by the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty coverage applies to manufacturing defects only. 

Warranty does not cover: 

● Wear and tear 

● Cosmetic blemishes from normal use 

● Impact or crash damage 

● Improper care or storage 

● Alterations or modifications 

 ONLY helmets that were purchased in the US 

Warranty evaluation is handled according to manufacturer guidelines. 

Processing may take 4–8 weeks depending on the nature of the claim. 

If you believe your product has a defect, contact us and we will assist you in beginning the warranty review. 

8. How to Start a Return 

To request a Return Authorization (RA): 

1. Email support@kabutoamericas.com with your name, order number, and the item(s) you wish to return. 

2. Our team will issue an RA number and provide the correct return address and instructions. 

3. Package items securely in a shipping box — never ship using only the product box. 

4. Ship your return within 10 days of receiving your RA number.

Returns without an RA number may be refused. 

9. Final Notes 

● Kabuto Americas ships and accepts returns within the U.S. only. 

● We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions outlined above. ● Our goal is to provide a return experience that reflects the precision and care we put into our products
